BIG TWIST OF 2021

It has been a pretty while since my last blog post, hasn’t it? How are you guys doing? I missed you! I hope everyone’s doing well and safe especially, during this pandemic. And if you’d ask me how am I doing, well, I’d say I’m still getting through all life crises but am happy that I could say I’m more than better now than the last year. Thank God!

Major Change

So, even if you didn’t ask and whether you like it or not (LOL!), just an update about me – I AM NOW A MOTHER OF TWO! Yay! Oh, but just to be clear, I did not get pregnant but hopefully, soon when it’s God’s perfect time. And yup, I’m talking about being a fur mom. Haha!

Honestly, I never imagined before that I could take care of even just one dog. I was afraid of the responsibility, the expenses, the chores need to be done for them like grooming them, cleaning the floor with their pee and poop, and etc. But maybe I had a big change of heart and I’m sooo glad that I did!

Our First Born – Kwangsoo

I’d like you to meet my first baby, Kwangsoo. I just can’t forget the feeling the moment I carried him. It was awkward actually because I was not used to carry puppies. He was shaking out of fear because I was a stranger to him.

Look how cute and handsome this little munchkin is! This is our first photo together and it was when we picked him up.

He’s a Japanese Spits and Shih Tzu mixed breed. He’s now a 6-month old handsome male furbaby and sometimes, he looks like a Corgi. He’s clingy and loves to run around especially when he gets the chance to sneak out of the house.

Our Second Baby – Ji-hyo

Kwangsoo was used to play-bite me that sometimes it would hurt and scratch my hands and legs. So we decided to have a new puppy to be his playmate.

Tantananaaan! Isn’t she pretty and a-do-rable???

This is Ji-hyo, our now almost 4-month old Labrador and Japanese Spits mixed breed female furbaby. I’m more than happy that we decided to get a new one. She has judgy eyes and she’s sometimes maldita. Haha! But eventually, she used to love us back and clingy too just as Kwangsoo.

Please let me flood here their cute photos. Hihihi

We named them after our favorite Korean show – Runningman members. In case you want to know them, just Google them. No, just kidding! Lol. You might want to watch one of their funny episodes here. You’re welcome!

Well, having pets isn’t easy but it is sooo heartwarming. I found more reasons to work hard so I can provide them their needs. They make me happy when I feel alone and sad and they’re my stress reliever when I get swamped at work.

I have a confession to make but please don’t be so judgy. I would ugly-cry every time I see videos on Facebook of maltreated, abandoned dogs. Especially, when I see videos of fur parents crying over their dead dogs. I just can’t help but get paranoid and think “what if they are Kwangsoo and Ji-hyo?” I know it’s OA but just let me be.

And now, one of my biggest fear is to lose them. Dogs live at least 10 years or more, let alone 15-20 years. Others say that if your pet dies, it would be devastating and sometimes traumatic. But I chose to be brave despite that fear and have them anyway and experience their genuine love and loyalty because whether I like it or not, it’s an inevitable reality.

Ahh… It’s nice to let it out here on my blog. I hope I did not bore you. Hehe The last thing I wanna share here is if you have a spare amount to donate to the following Facebook pages, please do so. Any amount will do. I follow them on Facebook and they help poor dogs who don’t have furever families, hit and run victims, etc. Let’s help them help the animals in need.

‘Til my next life update and blog post! Ciao!
